I remember when we used to go for Sunday drives without thinking how much money it was costing us for gas. Fortunately, we are still able to take our scenic drives, but it's frustrating and stressful when we have to fill the gas tank at such exorbitant prices.
Last week I went grocery shopping at Giant Eagle because you get 20 cents off per gallon for every 50 dollars spent. Because Mike and I eat out often, I buy restaurant gift cards there which adds to my gas discount. When I went into the store to start shopping gas was $3.47 a gallon. After getting my gift cards and groceries I was glad to see I would get $1 off per gallon. I then drove directly to the pump and discovered during the half hour I was in the store gas had gone up 30 cents a gallon to $3.77. Less than a week later, gas today is $3.99. This is crazy!
I just printed off an Ebook for my husband. He's going to attempt to build a solar generator. The instructions from this book are written in plain english so you don't need to be an engineer to understand them. There are many good ideas including how to build a wind turbine for your yard with complete instructions and many pictures. Once you purchase the ebook they offer you the opportunity to purchase, at a discount, another ebook on converting your car engine to water power. I purchased this also but it looks MUCH more complicated and this project will be put on the back burner for sure. If anyone is interested, below is the link to the site. It's worth taking a look. I will keep you all posted on how the solar energy project is progressing.

Hey, Like the blog...looks much like mine!
I heard that although possible, the ebook regarding water energy is somewhat of a hoax. Maybe not though. (fingers crossed)
I read in another blog that the science doesnt add up, I am a car guy ,and we all know Hydrogen is highly flammable (hindenburg), but can a internal combustion engine utilize this properly, safely, at all?
food for thought :)
